Today botan 1.10.0 and 1.8.12 were released.

1.10.0 is a major new feature release. New features now available
include SSL (SSLv3, TLS 1.0, and TLS 1.1 are currently supported), the
GOST 34.10-2001 signature scheme (a Russian ECC signature standard
analogous to ECDSA), the SHA-3 candidates Keccak and Blue Midnight
Wish, bcrypt password hashing, XSalsa20, AES key wrapping, and the
Comb4P hash combinator. There are also many new optimizations, support
for amalgamating the library into a single file for easier application
embedding, and the documentation saw a lot of updates.

1.8.12 is a bug fix rollup. The most notable issues were memory leaks
in the stream filters that would occur if the file open operation
failed, and a bug in EMSA3(Raw) which would cause it to produce
invalid signatures if the same PK_Signer was used more than once.

Source is available from http://botan.randombit.net/download.html,
with binaries for Win32/Win64 following as time permits. 1.10 should
also be available soon in Debian sid
(https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=botan1.10&suite=sid)
and hopefully in other distributions soon to follow.

As always, feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.

Regards,
  Jack
