[botan-devel] Use of PRIVATE in Botan uncovering compiler bug

Hello,

I'm using Botan with Gentoo Interix on Windows and have Botan working
correctly, however, I have to edit one of the files to work around a bug in
the gcc compiler:

Botan/src/asn1/asn1_int.h

Because the file contains on line 23:

   PRIVATE          = 0xC0,

which I have edited to something like:

   PRIVATE_BOTAN          = 0xC0,

Can we get this enum renamed to something that will not cause compiler
issues with compilers incorrectly treating this as a collision with the C++
keyword 'private'?

Thanks.
