You don't have to have botan.exp in AdditionalDependencies:

AdditionalDependencies
kernel32.lib;user32.lib;gdi32.lib;winspool.lib;comdlg32.lib;advapi32.lib;she
ll32.lib;ole32.lib;oleaut32.lib;uuid.lib;odbc32.lib;odbccp32.lib;botan.lib;%
(AdditionalDependencies)

Will do.

Joel

cannot open

Personally, I had more issues with Visual Studio and putting Botan in
"program files" than I wanted to deal with.

Once I moved it to "C:\src\botan\" my issues with paths went away. Maybe
that would help, maybe not.

Thanks,

Cory

file 'botan.expkernel32.lib'

Hi,

I am attempting to get set up with Botan in Windows with Visual Studio.
However when I build with the file hash.cpp I get the following error.

I have pointed to the botan.lib from VC++...

1>------ Build started: Project: BotanTest1, Configuration: Debug Win32
------

1>LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'botan.expkernel32.lib'

========== Build: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==========

Any help appreciated.

Sitaraman
