Dear Cryptographers,

The article on "UN video-conference spying allegations" (
http://america.aljazeera.com/articles/2013/8/25/nsa-bugged-u-n-headquarters.
html ) claims:

"In the summer of 2012, NSA experts succeeded in getting into the U.N. video
conferencing system and cracking its coding system, according one of the
documents cited by Der Spiegel."

Does anyone know what the "coding system", details about the exploit, or
whether this latest revelation has any cryptographic significance? Or is
this just a case of breaking through walls and stealing keys in cyberspace.
