if regional "any phone at hotel feed audio (speex codec of room
audible speaking individuals)" was enabled, without a specific
scrutiny, then yes, phone is better. removing batteries a session
anomaly potentially alerted upon in a different manner, leading to
targeted exploitation which means you always lose.

Snowden has repeatedly not asked for a blanket release
nor a change in how the information is delivered.
